This is Leah's scarecrow Mr. Flowerpot! For the structure we used 2 2x4s of wood
Scarecrow Reflection (2-D) October 8, 2012 1. Our scarecrow was good becuase the theme was unique and tied together very well. 2. We could have attached our legs better because they weren't quite connected to the torso. 3. Our creatures name was Mr. Flowerpot. Our deeper meaning was that it was a gardener. He was suppose to be silly. We made him look funny with his porportions and face. 4. We used a lot of bright colors to make our scarecrow happy. 5. Our group used styrofoam balls for our eyes to pop out. We made him stand with a wooden structure. We also used a lot of newspaper to make him look fat like a human man. 6. One of our lessons we learned during this project is that glue won't hold everything becuase some stuff needs better support and hot glue isn't adhesive enough to hold. This could be applyed to life because somethings can not be easily fixed. 7. When we designed our scarecrow we planned to use a plastic bag for our torso but then realized it wouldn't be sturdy enough to hold all of the parts. 8.yes it was a worthwhile project because it was fun and taught us a lot about building 3D objects.
